CANOE TRIPS

Welcome to Organic Boat Shop's backcountry canoe trips on the stunning French River, in Northern Ontario. Immerse yourself in this stunning wilderness and experience the tranquility and beauty of one of Canada's most historic and picturesque waterways.

An opportunity to learn how to paddle, or fine tune your paddling skills with our ORCKA certified canoe instructors. 

Scenic Routes Paddle through pristine waters, surrounded by majestic forests and rugged landscapes. 

Skills and the confidence to explore the backcountry on your own after gaining meaningful experience during your trip with us. 

ORCKA Level 1 & 2 course at our property in Alban, ON on Lake Courchesne. Accommodation provided on our property. You're welcome to camp or stay in our cabin. 

Depart from Alban and launch from Pine Cove to begin our backcountry trip on the French River. 

During our first day on the french we will explore parts of the 5 mile rapid section, and eventually set up camp for the night in one of the most beautiful sections of the river. 

We will continue down the river exploring, fishing, swimming, and all things canoeing. Eventually ending our day at the take out. 

-ORCKA Level 1 & 2 Certification 

- High-quality canoes and paddling gear

- All camping equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc. if needed)

-Accommodation Day 1 and day 3 if you prefer to stay Sunday evening. 

- Transportation to and from the river from Alban. 

- Permits and park fees
